The IJISSC Yearbook of the Next Society will be published as annual special issue of the International Journal of Information Systems and Social Change. The yearbook’s focus is on research on the structures and semantics of past and future forms of society. Next Society is therefore both a self-definition of the present computer society and an icon far transcending it. Next to articles on endeavors in social theory and research, the journal presents next articles and next snippets, which are shorter and shortest outlines of research yet to be done.
